Featured in 60 Minutes: Crisis at the Red Sea/Fake Voters/Finding Cillian Murphy (2024). I was absolutely glued to the screen from start to finish while watching this film. The amount of scenes with zero dialogue that have so much atmosphere and emotion is just incredible. Cillian Murphy is absolutely amazing in this movie, as I expected him to be. But the emotion he shows in this movie and the way he acts through his body language and facial expressions is just superb. He really is one of the best actors of this generation. Emily Watson is great as the abbess. The tension she brings to every scene is fantastic. It really shows how horrible some of the nuns were back then. This movie had a perfect running time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. It even felt longer to me because I was so absorbed in it. The score and cinematography were so simple yet so effective. They both really added a lot to the movie and just gave it the finishing touches it needed. Overall, this movie was absolutely amazing and was a very enjoyable watch. I would love to get more movies like this in the future.
