A unique profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams
The film was created from several interview recordings filmmaker Michael Gracey made with Robbie Williams over the course of a year and a half at Williams’ recording studio in Los Angeles in the United States. Although the interviews were not originally intended for film, as Gracey “just wanted to capture [Williams] in his own voice telling his story,” the majority of Williams’ voiceover in the film comes from these recordings.

Robbie Williams: If you want to laugh, just do it inside, OK?. Interesting idea, I agree, but the subject matter was incredibly boring, but the concept was watchable enough.
I would imagine the middle-aged women who were his first fans will be delighted by this film
We’ve had Robbie’s fake attention-seeking issues forced upon us for years, and here’s another version of his story. It’s embarrassing to watch Williams at his press conference pretending to be surprised by the attention he’s getting for the film that wasn’t his idea anyway.
“You’re just a bar singer, Robbie, please stop”
We’ve seen so many of his “poor me, look at me” episodes over the years, but the majority see through his constant attempts to put himself in the spotlight.
