Growing up in the Amazon rainforest gives Autumn a rare friendship: she discovers a lost baby jaguar named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind for the strangers of New York, she has been dreaming for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. At 14 years old and having adjusted to city life, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers and decides she must return to the Amazon to be with her beloved jaguar. Anya (Emily Beth Rickards), Autumn’s biology teacher, tries in vain to talk her out of this reckless plan. Joined by Anya, Autumn sets out on a journey to find Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
